The concept “Hyundai N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo”, inspired by the passion embedded by the N vehicles, will be available exclusively for the PlayStation video game Gran Turismo.
The drivetrain of the concept “Hyundai N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo” starts from the first propulsion system, based on fuel cell mass produced by Hyundai, thus emphasizing Hyundai Motor’s passion for performance and sustainability.
The total system develops 650 kW (871 hp) with a double fuel cell that delivers 500 kW (670 hp), super capacitor system generating 150 additional kW (201 hp) through the regeneration of the braking energy. This remarkable power is supplied to all four wheels, providing a level of traction without compromise.
Fuel cells, with compact and lightweight structure as well as the CFRP rigid monocoque body contributes to limiting the weight to 972 kg, thus giving a power to weight ratio that rivals that of the most exotic supercars in the world. Combined with the low center of gravity, power and performance allow this concept to evolve on the most demanding racing circuits in the world, incorporating the most exciting features of N patterns.
Air currents cross the hexagonal grid, specific to Hyundai Motor brand throughout the body which takes the form of a ship, through the tube that leads to the rear of the vehicle, thus minimizing the pressure in the bottom, in order to produce the maximum amount.
Although Hyundai N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo is based on a performance technology in terms of environmental protection, the vehicle will touch a chord among enthusiasts, due to the deep sound of its propulsion system.
The sounds from the turbine that spins at 200,000 rpm, a unique frequency of the fuel cells, deep sound of the hydrogen cooling system and high sounds of driven wheels are combined to produce the distinct noise of a race car, which is so exciting for the driver.
